THE COLLECTION
The water nobody photographs. A ditch, a canal, the shallow edge of a pond where the reeds stand in the mud. That is the whole collection.
Sapphire reeds, emerald fronds, dragonflies in blue topaz and orange citrine, and a white opal in every piece standing in for the water itself. All in yellow gold, with every clasp and hinge buried inside the planting.

The Necklace
A riverbank garland that hangs entirely below the chain line, graduating from the shoulders into a 24 carat oval opal at the lowest point. Sapphire cattails hang loose off chased gold stems and swing when you move.
Two dragonflies sit on concealed tremblant springs. The larger one lifts off and wears as a brooch. The clasp is a pair of interlocking emerald leaflets, so the reed bed carries on around the back of the neck.

The Ring
A 15 carat oval opal set flush across the top as the pool, with a dragonfly resting on it, legs gripping the bezel, wings curving down over the sides of the finger.
Sapphire reeds and emerald fronds climb the shoulders. The back shank stays plain and polished so it sits close.

The Earrings
Fifty five millimetres of riverbank in four articulated sections, a dragonfly at the lobe, an 8 carat pear opal at the end in a chased ripple bezel.
A pear briolette diamond hangs free on either side of the opal, so the light moves before the earring does.

The Bangle
The full scene laid across the front of a hinged bangle: calibré sapphire reeds, emerald fronds and a dragonfly gathered around a 12 carat oval opal.
The back half is plain polished gold and the hinge hides under an emerald frond. It is the one rigid piece in the parure, and the only one you can put on without looking.
