Le Paravent
OCTOBER 2026 | 5 PIECES | RUBIES, EMERALDS, YELLOW DIAMONDS

THE COLLECTION
Le Paravent is named after the lacquered folding screens of old Hong Kong drawing rooms, the ones painted with birds and plum blossom. Each piece in the set is one panel of the same scene.
Three tennis lines run through every piece: yellow diamond, ruby and emerald. Around them, sapphire birds, pink sapphire blossom and brushed yellow gold branches. Each jewel carries its own centre stone: ruby, emerald, blue sapphire, yellow diamond and pink tourmaline.

01
Le Collier
In Chinese painting, a magpie on a plum branch means joy is on its way. We set that picture at the front of a long Y necklace: one magpie perched, one arriving, beneath a ruby held in a plum blossom.
The three lines circle the neck and fall together as the drop, each ending in a pink sapphire pear. Small blossom sprigs sit at either side of the neck, and the clasp at the back is a gold plum flower.
02
La Bague
A sapphire magpie sits across the finger with a plum twig in its beak, and from that twig hang a cushion yellow diamond and a pink sapphire blossom.
The band is the set's three lines, yellow diamond, ruby and emerald, coiled around the finger in yellow gold.

03
Le Bracelet
Mandarin ducks swim in pairs for life, and in China they are the oldest sign of a faithful couple. Here they face each other across a blue sapphire, under a branch in flower.
The drake is set in orange, violet and green stones, his mate in champagne diamonds. The band is three rows of yellow diamond, ruby and emerald, closed by a plum blossom clasp in pink sapphire.
04
La Broche
A kingfisher waiting on a plum branch. Its back is pavé sapphire with a stripe of Paraiba tourmaline, the one flash of electric blue in the whole set.
The open blossom holds a large neon tourmaline, with smaller blossoms, green enamel leaves and pink sapphire buds along the branch. Three short tassels of yellow diamond, ruby and emerald hang below, so the brooch moves when you do.

05
Les Boucles
A swallow in flight on each ear, mirrored so the pair face each other. The swallow is the bird that brings spring back, which is why it belongs on a screen of plum blossom.
The tops are pink sapphire blossoms with an emerald at the heart. Below them the three lines fall past the bird and a gold branch, and finish in pink sapphire pears.
