THE COLLECTION
Five claws, one for each finger of a hand. Each grips the base of the nail, curls underneath the fingertip, and runs out into a point.
Platinum throughout. Every claw carries a different stone and a different architecture, and every one ends in a faceted tip set flush to the metal rather than a cabochon. Worn together they are a parure. Worn one at a time, a claw is a ring you wear at the end of the finger.

La Collana
A collar of paired talons, each pair closing on a single oval stone. There is no bezel and no pavé anywhere on it. Nothing holds the stones but the same metal that makes the shape.
Ruby, emerald, sapphire and diamond run around the arc to a cushion fancy yellow diamond at the throat, set in yellow gold inside a rosette of claws opening outward. At the nape, two claws hook into each other and close the necklace.

La Griffe Impériale
Thumb. A raised spine of graduated pigeon blood rubies running the length of the claw, closing on a pear cut ruby at the point.
The largest of the five, because the thumb is the one finger that can carry it.

La Griffe Padparadscha
Ring. Oval padparadscha sapphires and pink diamonds scattered across the claw rather than lined up, falling toward a round padparadscha at the point.
The one piece in the set with no axis. The stones are placed, not repeated.

La Griffe de Saphir
Index. A single channel of calibrated Kashmir sapphires cut to the taper of the claw, ending in a marquise sapphire.
Every stone is cut narrower than the one before it, so the channel closes evenly instead of widening or breaking.

La Griffe Émeraude
Middle. One emerald cut Colombian emerald set as a crown in a field of pavé, with a round emerald at the tip.
The hero of the five, and the only one built around a single important stone rather than a run of them.

La Griffe de Saphir
Little finger. Full pavé, icy white, across the whole claw, finishing in a marquise fancy vivid yellow diamond.
The smallest of the five and the brightest, and the one that catches first when the hand moves.
