THE COLLECTION
The blue morpho's wing holds no blue pigment. The colour is structure: ridges too small to see, splitting the light and throwing back only that one blue.
Which is what a faceted stone does. So the wings are built from single marquise sapphires set one to a cell, never paved, with fine diamond ribs curving between the rows. At the centre of every piece, one long emerald cut diamond is the body.

The Necklace
The butterfly at full span, four sapphire sections to each wing, graduating outward from the body.
The emerald cut diamond runs the length of the thorax, long and narrow rather than square, so the butterfly has a spine instead of a centre stone. It hangs from a fine box chain on a diamond set bail.

The Ring
The butterfly open across the finger, sapphire wings spread wide, the emerald cut diamond body running between them.
The shank opens into pierced bands that braid under the finger, with more sapphires set inside where only the wearer sees them.

The Earrings
An emerald cut diamond at the lobe with a single wing hanging beneath it, mirrored left and right.
Worn as a pair they complete the butterfly across the face. Worn alone, each one reads as a wing and nothing else, which is the more interesting half of the idea.

The Bracelet
The butterfly at the centre of the wrist, with marquise sapphires continuing around the band in a claw set line.
Small diamond arcs sit between the sapphires the whole way round, so the wing ribbing carries on past the butterfly and turns into the bracelet itself.
