MAY 2026 | 5 PIECES | RUBIES, SAPPHIRES, ENAMEL

THE COLLECTION
Five things everybody already knows the shape of, made in ruby, sapphire and enamel. A donut, an ice cream, a watermelon, lips and an eye.
The joke only works if the making is serious. Every colour here is a stone or a fired enamel, never a paint and never a print. The sprinkles are sapphires, the watermelon seeds are onyx, the cherry is a ruby cabochon.

01
The Donut
A glazed donut at true size, the mint enamel poured over the gold and left to run down the sides in a scalloped drip.
The sprinkles are sapphires in pink, yellow, blue and green, with rubies and white diamonds among them, each one claw set at its own angle so they scatter instead of lining up.
02
The Ice Cream
A scoop of pink sapphires on a caramel enamel cone, with a ruby cabochon cherry on a polished gold stem.
The waffle lattice is worked in gold over the enamel rather than engraved into it, so the pattern stands proud the way a real cone does.

03
The Watermelon
A slice cut straight through: ruby pavé for the flesh, black onyx for the seeds, and three bands of enamel for the rind, white into pale green into dark.
The seeds sit at the angles seeds actually sit at, scattered and tilted. That is the detail that stops it reading as a graphic.
04
The Lips
A mouth, closed, paved edge to edge in ruby over red gold, with the parting line cut clean between the two lips.
No outline, no border, no setting visible from the front. The stones run right to the edge of the silhouette and stop.

05
The Eye
An open eye in white gold and enamel, with a blue pavé iris, a black onyx pupil, and a single white diamond set where the light would catch.
The lashes are blackened gold, each one cut and curved on its own, and they carry off the edge of the ring rather than lying flat against it.
